All our inflatables are sold on the basis that you are or your organisation has a dedicated competent person and that you or your organisation possess the skills required to operate such equipment. Whilst our products do come with some guidance, We must insist you are fully competent in the requirements of the HSE & have a full understanding of the operational elements of EN14960. Do NOT operate this equipment without the required training or competence levels.
Please be aware that in the absence of any legislation or guidance for items falling both inside and outside the scope of EN14960, We use snippets of EN14960, EN71, Other british standards, Risk Assessment, 25 years of manufacturing experience, accident data and other documentation to issue certifications. Weight limits also apply to all inflatables.

Mat guidance:
Our mats are manufactured from one solid sheet of recon foam engineered to have an impact resistance suitable for a 1,000mm fall height @ 2" thick, making them ideal for bouncy castles where the maximum fall height is 630mm. The materials we use are the exact same grade we use in full-scale manufacture. Its UV stable so won't fade, 610gsm so has unbelievable strength & is treated with an anti-fungicidal solution to help keep them fresh for longer and easy to clean. The mat thickness may very depending on the impact rating of the foam at the time. ie, If the impact rating is greater. The foam will be thinner but the overall protection will be identical.
Our PVC bouncy castle mats are sandwich style mats sewn externally to give 2 flat surfaces and 4 flat external seams and no internal pressure. This method allows the mats to remain flat, firm and to stop unnecessary wear and tear or delamination from high traffic on folded PVC. PVC is not designed to be folded under load for long periods of time and why you often see internal seam mats cracking and splitting prematurely. The mats are manufactured in batches of 300 to bring the costs down through volume. We do not compromise on materials.

Please be aware that all our 2" mats are manufactured from a recon fleck material to give perfect impact attenuation. This fleck material contains darker and lighter colours which may show through lighter coloured or polished materials where the light cannot be blocked or refracted. If this presents an issue, please let us know in advance and we can substitute the foam for a different foam, However, the impact attenuation would be severely affected.
